Queers in the Kitchen

This blog is to showcase queers in domestic environments; focusing on the evolution of the chef persona in the culinary world. In domestic environments, the roles went from a female housewife to a macho male chef. From little girl's toy kitchen sets, the idea of boys growing up in the kitchen, the figure of Julia Child in the culinary world, The Galloping Gourmet, and then finally male and female queer chefs in the spotlight such as the Food Network and The Cooking Channel.
